Project Details
The Community Health and Wellness Outreach Program aimed to improve access to health information and essential healthcare services among vulnerable populations in Korogocho. Through health awareness campaigns, educational workshops, community outreach events, and partnerships with healthcare providers, the project addressed critical issues affecting community wellbeing.
Topics covered included personal hygiene, nutrition, mental health, reproductive health, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles. Beneficiaries received referrals to health facilities and support in accessing available medical services when necessary. By empowering individuals with knowledge and connecting them to healthcare resources, the programme contributed to healthier families and a stronger, more informed community.
