Project Details

The Green Korogocho Environmental Conservation Project was launched to promote environmental responsibility and create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community. The project engaged children, youth, women, and local residents in tree-planting activities, waste management campaigns, environmental education sessions, and regular community clean-up exercises. Participants learned about the importance of environmental stewardship, climate action, and sustainable living practices.

Through collaboration with local stakeholders and volunteers, the initiative helped beautify public spaces, improve sanitation, and increase awareness of environmental challenges affecting informal settlements. The project also inspired community ownership of environmental conservation efforts, contributing to long-term positive change.
