Project Details
The Women Economic Empowerment Initiative focused on strengthening the financial independence and resilience of women by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to improve their livelihoods. The project delivered financial literacy training, entrepreneurship workshops, savings and investment education, and support for small-scale business development.
Women were encouraged to form savings groups and cooperative networks that promoted peer learning and collective economic growth. Through access to mentorship and practical business skills, participants were able to expand existing enterprises or launch new income-generating activities. The initiative not only improved household incomes but also enhanced the confidence, decision-making capacity, and social wellbeing of women across the community.
