Project Details
The Family Strengthening and Social Support Initiative was designed to enhance the wellbeing and resilience of vulnerable families facing social and economic challenges. The project provided counseling services, parenting education, family support forums, and referrals to social protection programmes and community resources.
Through household visits and community engagement activities, Friends Anduru CBO worked closely with families to identify their needs and develop practical solutions to improve their living conditions. The initiative promoted stronger family relationships, improved child welfare, and greater community cohesion while helping vulnerable households access the support necessary to achieve long-term stability and self-reliance.
