Project Details
The Community Feeding and Elderly Support Program was established to provide critical assistance to elderly persons and vulnerable households facing food insecurity and social challenges. Through regular food distribution drives, household visits, and community support activities, the project sought to improve the wellbeing and dignity of beneficiaries.
Volunteers and staff engaged directly with elderly residents, offering companionship, psychosocial support, and referrals to essential social and healthcare services. The programme also mobilized community members, partners, and donors to contribute resources that strengthened the support network for vulnerable individuals. By addressing both nutritional and social needs, the initiative helped improve quality of life and fostered a greater sense of inclusion and care within the community.
